Hi,
I've got an old Sun X4600 monster PC for an academic poject to use however I want, and I try to install MX, what is well proven on my other machines. It has AMD Rage 3 [Rage XL PCI] video on-board. When booting with live DVD, the graphical menu is OK, but then it switches to 86 Hz (perhaps assume CRT?), so it overdrives the 60 Hz TFT, or just flashes a cursor in case of some options combination. Is there a way to set it on the live system? I tried many combination of options and also the video=1280x1024@60 boot option without any success. I don't want to continue with installation before I check and approve the system works well.
