MX KDE Official Release • MX KDE: No interaction keyboard/mouse interaction after connecting a second monitor to laptop

Dear MX-folks,

I have a problem.
I'm running MX Linux (up to date) on a Lenovo X1 Yoga (3rd Gen). So far most things work like a charm.

Unfortunately if I connect an external monitor via HDMI while the system runs i can't interact with anything anymore in runtime 7.
- I can see the mouse moving, but even if I click or drag something, this doesn't get displayed (on both displays). Same applies for the keyboard.
- The system seems to run albeit not displaying any change. If I press Strg+Alt+Entf then two times left then enter the system reboots. But no change in display as long as I am in KDE Plasma
- I can easily change the runtime to level 2 and do stuff there.

I already looked in other forum posts for my problem, but didn't find similar behaviour. Maybe you can point me in a direction to get to where the problem lies.

Best regards
Samuel
