I learned the hard way to NOT boot into clonezilla from hibernation today. I almost thought it would work lol. NBD but clonezilla threw file system errors and would not proceed so I rebooted clean and used the "check for file system errors and fix" option in the gui (twice). The backup checks out and hibernate works like a charm.
