Running MX linux 23.3 KDE on PC.

I wanted something like International English locale settings with 2024-06-19 13h24 etc
but could not find it, so I tried to combine several country-settings.

Now, when installing software or just running e.g. vncserver
I get warnings like these:
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LANGUAGE = "en_GB:nl:en_US",
LC_ALL = (unset),
LC_TIME = "en_SE.UTF-8",
LC_MONETARY = "nl_NL.UTF-8",
LC_MEASUREMENT = "nl_NL.UTF-8",
LC_NUMERIC = "en_NL.UTF-8",
LANG = "C"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

I have used the MX-tool locale to put things right, but to no avail.
I also tried dpkg-reconfigure locales.
For some reason the settings do not seem to take effect.

I have read some posts and some talk about /etc/locale.conf but I do not have that file.
I wonder where the above settings are stored, I have looked in /etc/default too.
