MX Help • Screensaver is disabled after video playback

Screensaver settings are active until a video is played. After the video is played the result of command "xdg-screensaver status" is "disabled"

Code:

$ xdg-screensaver statusdisabled
and screensaver no longer activates after the given time, thus I have to go to Settings > Xfce Screensaver and click on the ""Enable Screensaver" toggle (or any toggle in this window) to reenable it.

How do I make sure that the Screensaver is reenabled automatically after exiting the video? By "reenable" I mean that the result of "xdg-screensaver status" is "enabled"

Code:

$ xdg-screensaver statusenabled
and subsequently, the screensaver and/or screenlock are/is activated based on the settings given.

Note: This happens after playing any kind of video, be it online or locally. Same problem on all my machines: 2x MacBookPro 2012, 1x MacMini 2012 & 1x MacBook 2006, all running MXLinux 23.
