Could somebody point me to a documented procedure for successfully and reliably pairing a CaseFlex BT min-keyboard (apple-mac-look-alike) to my desktop pc running MX 23.4, please?
I did have this keyboard paired with an Android Minix system once, years ago, but pairing usually took a couple of days to complete, by which time I had forgotten how to use Android. I have now spent most of today trying to pair this keyboard with my desktop MX install without success. Every so often - say 1 or 2 times per hour - the search function in the Bluetooth Devices window of BT Manager will actually find the keyboard and report optimum connection characteristics. I can request a pairing with the keyboard, shortly after which a window opens asking me to enter the pairing code. At no time am I informed what that pairing code is. That doesn't matter all that much because nothing I can type on the keyboard ever appears in that pairing code window. After a few seconds that window disappears and so does the entry in the Bluetooth Devices window. No matter how many time I search again for the keyboard, it is not discovered until a long time has passed - sometimes up to an hour. In the meantime BlueTooth Devices seems to find a long collection of 'Miscellaneous' devices which are quite unknown to me. This is not a problem though as they are listed for just a minute or so before also disappearing for a long period. Clearly I'm not holding the software correctly; what should I be doing?
