Software / Configuration • Help with desktop sharing

Good Morning fellow Linux users,

Background:

I have a question and need advice. I currently run a genealogy program on my Linux PC. It's called Ancestral Quest vs 16. It's a MS Win app that I installed with Wine. I contacted the company last week that develops the app and asked them if they are going to develop a Linux version. Currently they have only a Win and Mac app. I told them that I currently run their basic version ( free as in beer ) and it works extremely well. They are curious as to how I got it installed and be able to run, because other customers were calling in about running their app on Linux OS. They reached out to me again today via email and they want to remotely view / share my desktop to see it run and what functions and what does not and how I installed it.

Question:

1. What is a good app to use for desktop sharing / viewing between my Linux PC and their MS Win PC ?
2. I do have Zoom installed on my PC.
3. I know Teamviewer has a Linux Version that i could download and install.
4. Is there any other app I could use ?
5. And the final question. What about security.

Thanks for any information you could provide.
