Hi - a feature request to: implement content focus and limit onscreen distraction while watching videos.
It probably has a similar attraction when working in other applications and limiting onscreen distractions.
Three attached images may help to show the desired effect.
Step 0 shows a video played in a browser. The context of which was was chosen randomly and irrelevant here
Notice operating system presence in forms of information and gui things alongside information and gui things associated with software, in this case a browser window,
Step 1 shows an addon that attempts to limit onscreen clutter within the browser and it has some affect
Step 2 shows desired feature request in that localized to desktop being used all operating system clutter AND all browser clutter is limited. Hopefully completely.
I am not too bothered about working methods as:
not every video needs to be watched in "full screen mode" but that may be a way to provide a mask obscuring all onscreen clutter while showing all onscreen video at the chosen size and chosen resolution.
Besides excellent functionality you got to admit: it is cool. Very, very cool!
