MX KDE Official Release • Which version of KDE ? Plasma ? Something else ? Update Question

Greetings, right now I'm running MX21 using the XFCE desktop but fell in love with Plasma through distrosea.com.

- is MX23 KDE the Plasma KDE ? Another version ?
- how does an update/desktop migration sound ? Should I expect problems switching form MX21 XFCE to MX23 KDE ?
