Hi, I've got an old notebook Acer Aspire 5685 running MX-23.2_x64 Libretto XFCE (fresh installation, full HD, no dual boot). Everything is working fine except sound.
In order to activate sound I have to follow these steps:
- run alsamixer
- press F6
- select "default:0 HDA Intel" instead of PulseAudio
- Mute Master
- Unmute Master
- ESC alsamixer
- click icon of Pulse Audio on the taskbar
- unmute speaker
- eventually sound is working
But every reboot there is no sound and I have to repeat all the above steps.
How to permanenty save my alsamixer configuration?
I've googled this problem and I tried some of the suggestions but none is working for me.
