I just realized that I don't have a picture / video in a downloaded youtube video when it has AV1 codec.
VLC gives an HTTP error (??sometimes??) when I try to play it.
I download via jdownloader2 - since early windows years familiar with it, and it works good with my very slow and sketchy internet here.
Sadly I don't know which of my older videos actually uses this codec, all I can remember that some (probably the more recent ones) do. And I never had any playback issues in MX21.
First time I installed jdownloader2 via the sh script it reported that it needs to download ffmpeg to mix the video and audio. I declined and downloaded the newest version from the MX test repo.
Seems to work as h264 and other codecs seem to work fine.
I never was good with these things, since VLC came around all these sound and video things just worked.
for good measure here the QSI, but I think you guys and gals probably need some other info too.
