I have done additional testing on '_x64_ahs':
  • Installed MX-23.2_x64_ahs in a virtual machine (QEMU). Performed 'sudo arp upgrade' and installed all updates. Reboot with latest kernel 6.7.11. Then installed Arduino: It worked!
  • With a live DVD MX-23.2_x64_ahs: Performed 'sudo arp upgrade' and installed updates (but no reboot to latest kernel). Then installed Arduino: It worked
  • Started my original MX-23.2_x64_ahs installation, but booted with the previous kernel 6.6.12. Started Arduino: still not working...
  • Created a new user (test@Ryzen). Started Arduino: It worked!
  • Suspecting user permissions/group memberships: No issues found here.
  • New suspect: Java configuration files. Relocated '.java/' folder in home-folder: still not working.
  • Final suspect: Arduino configuration files. Relocated '.arduino15/' folder in home-folder: It worked!
Conclusion:The problem was not related to 'MX-23.2_x64_ahs', but errors in (hidden) Arduino config-files.
Deleting hidden directory '.arduino15/' resolves what seems to be a configuration deadlock.

Mystery SOLVED.
